21 Things Kids Do Behind Your Back – Ideas For New Directions in Creative Writing Prompts

I have already had such good luck and response from my first ‘New Directions in CreativeWriting Prompts’ that I have decided that we should really kick the dirt while its windy. In other words, I had a lot of fun doing the first one…I am inclined to keep stirring the murky waters up.Okay, I don’t know how many if any teen agers are part of the hub schematic or not, but if you are this hub is dedicated to you. If you are a teen, I can’t wait to see your real and creative takes on these hub ideas. Now then if you are on the other hand, a Parental Figure, Guardian, Custodial Relative or even a School Teacher (ie. You must be someone who supervises and is under the influence of children several if not every day of the week…) you may use any of these topics, but if you have a teen that is writing on the hub 1) You may not write the same hub topic as your teen, I will not have any Mom and Dad writing an equal and PC opposing hub to counteract the fact that you can’t even supervise your household wifi usage…sorry kids rule my utopia …2) You may not use your child’s real name, friends real names, or nicknames – new ones must be substituted although all adults, teachers, pets and counselors are encouraged to give their full names, addresses and all vital stats so tomorrow your house can be vandalized and not mine…and and necessary evil 3) If you are in possession of and responsible for a child for any reason other than the legal ones listed above, you are not welcome to write anything from the listed subjects except detailswhere your local sheriff and county authorities can find the child safely and arrest you.  1 – Who is the one person in the whole world that you trust the most, it can be anyone (even family members) even imaginary friends or non human friends. Or if you do not trust anyone start with that. Tell us why you trust or don’t trust them and how you first came to feel the way you do.

2 – We all have best friends, maybe even more than one…but sometimes we tell our family only about the ones that they will approve of. Who is your real BFF really, and being a secret from your family tell us some of the funniest things you have gotten away with.

3 – What are the stupid nicknames you call your parents behind their back. What do your friends call them, and if its a nickname, how did Ma or Pa earn that badge of honor?

4 – Where do you like to go when you want to be by yourself, and what are your favorite things to do? Besides jacking off and reading crumpled up porno mags.

5 – When and where was the last time you got yourself into really big trouble, does it happen a lot, have you ever been arrested, or even worse? And how do you feel about it.

6 – Have you ever worn one set of clothes when leaving the house to get by your parents without problems, only to immediately change into clothes that you know they would not allow you to wear. What did you do with the original outfiit, what did you change into, and where the heck were you going?

7 – If you found a thousnd dollars in cash without any ID in a wallet, what would you do with it? Has this ever happened to you…or anyone you know?

8 – Have you had sex, intercourse, oral sex, or any variation? Yes or no tell us how your life has changed since then, and only tell basics, no graphic sex or nude body part descriptions please.

9 – What is the biggest secret you ever told someone else after promising not to tell?

10 – Have you ever made, bought, used or otherwise acquired a fake ID or stolen ID from someone and used said fake identity. What all did you do, and what happeed? Did you ever get caught or in trouble for it?

11 – What is the worst thing that you have ever caught or found out that your parents are doing? Is it something that you are allowed to do, how did you find out, and do they know? How does that make you feel about them now, and are they still doing it in secret?

12 – If you could switch places with any of your friends at home or school, who would it be and why would you want to change places with them?

13 – Have you ever shoplifted from anywhere for any amount no matter how small. Does anyone know that you have? Do you steal regularly, and have you ever gotten in trouble for it?

14 – Have you ever drank alcohol? Do you drink regularly? When did you first try it, or if you don’t drink what are your reasons not to?

15 – If you had the ability to be invisible for an entire day, and there was no chance that anyone would know or be able to sense your presence while around them, where would you go and what would you do with your super cool new power?

16 – What school rule do you dislike the most and why? Are there others and do you obey them or not since you don’t like them?

17 – If you found a Genie in a majic lamp , rubbed the bottle and were granted three wishes, what would they be (cflassic rules you can’t wish for more wishes, make anyone fall in love with you, or bring anybody back from the dead) but otherwise no holds barred.

18 – What is the biggest lie you ever got away with telling, and how did you go about it? Do you feel guilty or proud of it, and do you lie about other things now since it first happened?

19 – How often if ever do you steal from your parents directly out of their wallet of purse? How much do you usually steal at a time and what for?

20 – Do you do drugs, anything from pills, pot, all the way to acid and meth? Do you do any of them regularly or have a fave that stick with? Why did you first start and when?

21 – What do you really want to be when you get out of high school ( or as they say at home, when you grow up) . Do you want to graduate, go to college, or even get a job? Do you care?
